LEFDUP & LEFDUP on stage is like the U.F.O. phenomena:

There is some believable testimonies , some irrefutable documents , and even a great number of certified authentic recorded images, but a doubt still remains:

Did all this really happen?

Is it a myth or a legend?

Has anyone heard about it?

Recall the facts:
After a thorough study, it would seem that the Lefdup have been changing the name of their band at each gig (concert, venue...), that they staged in various different and diverse places, such as the Opera de Paris, la Cigale, Canal+, the Rex Club, Le Palace, le Confort Moderne, etc...or in music festivals such as Les Eurockéennes of Belfort, Art Rock of St Brieuc or Video Pop Combo in Rennes.
This behaviour doesn't facilitate the task of hip musicologists or admirative fans.

More ever, it's difficult to evaluate the number of members in the band,the amount of participants varying from 2 to 25,368. (approximately)

They also sometimes join together to gig with good friends, and that's how Denis was seen with Lofofora at La Cigale, or with Néry and Les Ogres de Barbak at the Sentier des halles...

All this is very puzzling and we hope that the few enclosed documents will allow you to make your own opinion if, of course, you wish to have one.

Recently, in Septembre 98, during the XIIth Videobrasil Festival (Sao-Paulo),we have done "HOME OF THE PAGE", a show entirely about Internet... Surprising, isn't it?
